Immunodeficiency Diseases
Need of the hour !
Awareness regarding these diseases will be a
necessity until they are completely eradicated
from the world. Diseases like Influenzea, Cholera,
H1N1, Plague, Covid are repetitive diseases to
come up different variants each time. Unlike
always we are inclined more towards taking
precautions after the Pandemics/Diseases etc.
For whom we are here :
Remote villages are typically small, isolated settlements located far away from urban or metropolitan centers.

?
These diseases are contagious and infectious diseases
leading to weakning of human immune system.
A communicable disease that can spread rapidly from
person to person through direct contact (touching a
person who has the infection), indirect contact (touching a contaminated object), or droplet contact (inhaling droplets made when a person who has the infection coughs, sneezes, or talks).
Immunodeficiency Diseases

The more scary ones !
Influenzea
Cholera
Covid
!
Reason to focus on these 3 specifically :
1. They have lot of variants
2. Worldwide effect
3. Frequent Outbreaks
4. Highly Contagious

Primary Research (Case Studies)
2.1. Biological nature of the disaster is quite unknown to the community
Unlike natural disasters, there are no visible threats. Thus, warning is often diluted and not taken seriously in various social sense and practicality purposes. In the case of a pandemic, the threat of virus is absolutely invisible, and its biological characteristics are unknown. Therefore, how the situation will unfold in immediate and in long‐term is quite unknown.
2.2. Lack of disaster preparedness at the grassroots level After the enactment of Disaster Management
In 2005, India had organized disaster response systems but lacked full-scale CBRN preparedness. Pandemic preparedness was limited to medical measures, with little community involvement. The NDMA's 2008 guidelines recognized the socio-economic impacts of pandemics but were not fully implemented. This lack of preparedness disproportionately affected the poor and marginalized sections of society.

Who are we here for ?
Remote villages are typically small, isolated settlements located far away from urban or metropolitan centers. These villages are
often characterized by their limited access
to infrastructure, services, and technology.
Why them ?
Geographical isolation
Limited infrastructure
Healthcare challenges
Technological divide

Literacy rate in India till 2011 74.04

Problem Statement
"Addressing the Lack of Awareness and Implementation of Guidelines and Precautions for Immunodeficiency Diseases
in Remote Villages: A Public Health Challenge"
Lack of awareness of guidelines and preventions regarding the immuno deficiency diseases in remote villages.
The lack of communication through internet, digital media sources down to publication and awareness design.
